Children and Youth Programs
All programs require registration. Please sign up at the library or by calling 473-8201.
Nature Nuts: Families can come and explore the outdoors with us! We
meet Tuesday evenings, 6:30-7:30. Come dressed for the weather and bring
your desire to explore the area in and around the library. Children must
attend with an adult.
Homeschooler Mondays: Homeschool group will meet one Monday per
month, 10:30-11:45. Any age is welcome.
baby laptimes:
For babies birth to 12 months and their caregivers. Come explore books, sing some songs, learn fingerplays, and socialize with others. Sessions are 20-25 minutes long, with time to pick out books afterwards.

toddler tales One!
These sessions are for toddlers ages 12 months to 24 months. Children and caregivers are invited to these 20-30 minute sessions, that include music and movement, short stories, fingerplays and fun. Time to explore our extensive toddler book collection and our unique toy lending library is provided afterwards.

Time for 2's
Designed for active 2 year olds (24 - 36 months) and their caregivers. Sessions will run 20-30 minutes, and include music, movement, stories and hand-on fun! Time to explore our extensive toddler and easy book collection, and our unique toy lending library is provided afterwards.

Preschool story time:
Story time is for children ages 3-5 who are able to sit for a short story. Story time is followed by crafts, songs, games or snacks. Outstanding children's authors are featured weekly. Caregivers are required to attend or close by in the library.

Junior pineknotters:
This group is for youth in 5th - 8th grades, and focuses on crafts, library exploration, book discussions, guest speakers, community involvement and Girl Scout Studio 2B programming.
- Thursdays at 3:30-5:30 (check the library calendar of events for exact dates)
NEW! girls rock!
Created for Kindergarten and first grade girls, this new club caters to girls who are just beginning to read. We want Kindergarten and first grade girls to bring along their favorite, most rockin' adult "girlfriend" (moms, aunts, babysitters, etc.) to share in this activity.

New! Reader Guys! Created for Kindergarten and first grade boys, this new club caters to boys who are just beginning to read. We want Kindergarten and first grade boys to bring along their favorite person to join this fun club!
