The Priestley-Forsyth Memorial Library depends upon the generosity of our community.  There are a number of ways to support the library.  Please contact the library at 570-473-8201 or via e-mail for more information.

Derby Day Auction:

Our largest fundraiser is our annual Derby Day Auction, occurring on the first Saturday of May.  The 2010 Derby Day Auction will be on May 1st.  If you would like to donate an item for the 2010 auction, please call the library at 570-473-8201 or e-mail us.

Memorial Book program:

The Library's Memorial Book Program offers you an opportunity to honor the memory of friends or relatives by donating a book to the collection of the library.  You may specify a subject area or library staff will select a book in an area of need of new materials.  Your gift book will bear a bookplate naming the donor and the person memorialized.  Letters of acknowledgment and appreciation will be sent to both the donor and family of the person who is being honored.

Honorary Book program:

The Library's Honorary Book Program gives you the unique opportunity to honor a person, a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, retirement, etc.).  You may specify a subject area or library staff will select a book in an area of need of new materials.  Your gift book will bear a bookplate naming the donor and the person/event honored.  Letters of acknowledgment and appreciation will be sent to both the donor and honoree.
